At the end of 2021, WeVideo partnered with Dropbox Replay to help creators and teams streamline their video creation process. Now we’re excited to announce that Dropbox Replay is officially launching for general release!
No longer in beta, Dropbox Replay is now available as a limited version to anyone with a Dropbox plan. Through the seamless integration between WeVideo and Dropbox Replay, remote teams of all sizes can get video projects across the finish line faster and more efficiently.
Here's how the integration works:
- Using WeVideo’s editor, creators can quickly and easily make videos for any purpose, including ads and marketing, influencer branding, tutorials, social media, and beyond.
- Then, projects can be exported directly to Dropbox Replay, where teams can view high-quality playback in a virtual viewing room, leave frame-accurate comments and annotations (even without a Dropbox account!), and easily track project status and versions.
Export any video directly to Dropbox Replay.
All feedback is managed within Dropbox Replay, without requiring large or high-raster video files to be downloaded or converted to different formats during review sessions. There's also no need for endless email back-and-forths, as all team member feedback is kept in just one place.
Users can then open their Dropbox Replay videos right in WeVideo to view time-stamped comments and feedback at specific frames within the timeline (as shown below). Use the feedback to make live edits within WeVideo, and in minutes your revision process is done!

No matter the size of your remote team, WeVideo + Dropbox Replay empowers you to share, manage, and provide feedback on your video projects — streamlining your workflows and making the video revision process hassle-free.
Here's what our CEO, Krishna Menon, had to say about the initial release: “This integration with Dropbox Replay furthers our mission to provide accessible and intuitive, top-quality multimedia creation tools for all users, and offers our customers a simplified collaborative experience with professional-level results. As video continues to grow as a crucial component for businesses and creators, we will continue to work with key partners like Dropbox to improve production workflows, simplify processes and help our customers create compelling videos easier and faster than ever before.”
Dropbox Replay is now available as a limited version with any Dropbox plan. Select paid plans have the option to upgrade to the Dropbox Replay Add-On for more premium collaboration and security features. Learn more at www.dropbox.com/replay.
